My name is Graeme Minns & I live at Avenel 3664 (Vic) , I originally came from a 6th Generation Farming Family at Melton (Vic) so have had plenty of experience with Farm Machinery & Tractors . I first drove my late Father's Fordson Power Major when I was 11 Years of age working up the paddocks Etc. I am now 68 Years of age & having spent all of my Teenage Years on our Family Farm with 2 other Brothers , we had heaps of time ( along with having to attend normal Schooling ) to work on the Farm , which my Late Father grew Mainly Wheat / Barley & Hay Crops . This was back in the early 60's / 70's & 80's , Dad had Fordson's / Nuffield's & later International , Massey Ferguson & John Deere Tractors , over that period of time .
Even since leaving the Farm & getting Married, I always had my own land & Tractors & Machinery . My Tractors were Massey Ferguson & John Deere's .
My wife & I recently moved to Avenel to retire on a small Acreage Hobby Farm , which I brought my 25-Year-old Front End Loader Tractor with us , as we have 2 Horses & feed them with Round Bales of Hay ,when there is not enough paddock feed , so the Tractor was to Feed the Hay out to them as well as other small jobs E.G. using it for Lifting work was essential , for Fire Wood ETC .plus I am now getting to the stage where several Injuries over the Years , have made normal work difficult & a good Tractor Helps me to continue this life Style .
My John Deere , was starting to need some maintenance , so I decided to look at a new Tractor .
For me to be able to afford a well-known Brand that I have grown up with , was out of the question & I decided to look at Chinese made Tractors , which I must admit went against ALL thoughts of ever owning one . However, after much research
I fortunately rang up "Tanner Track Tractors Prop. Ltd" at Pakenham (Vic) as soon as I spoke to their main Sales Person, Geoff I was instantly overwhelmed by his professionalism & we talked about a LOVOL M804 (80 H.P. ) Front End loader Tractor with
Air-Conditioned Cab . Normally I would have gone to their Premises to view their range of Tractors ,but with the "COVID" Ban in Place that was not feasible .
Geoff put me onto David Smith the owner & we worked out a Great deal on the Tractor & a couple of other Implements
to be delivered to my Place at Avenel .
This took place Last Thursday 1st of October. David delivered the Tractor at an arranged time & spent at least 2 hours explaining the workings etc. as well as fitting an Orange Revolving Safety Light to the roof of the Cab .
To Sum everything up , Both Geoff & David are really nice people & nothing was too much of a bother to them , they both went out of their way to make sure I fully understood the workings Etc. of The Tractor . I cannot praise these two Gentlemen enough ; they are both Patient & Very understanding . Geoff rang me on the Friday to see if I was happy with the Tractor or had any concerns .
I am Very Fussy with what I purchase , but Both Geoff & David put me at ease straight away , they are very helpful to their
Customers & the MAIN IMPORTANT THING FOR ME WAS THEIR HONESTY . I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE who is thinking of purchasing a NEW Tractor or Machinery .
